Meat Chickens

The 440 meat birds are raised from chicks and fed organic starter and grower from Big Sky Organic Feeds.  They are put out on pasture when they are old enough to get around and forage. These birds have lots of space and fresh air.

We process our birds with the mobile chicken tractor.  See images below.  This work is labor and time intensive, but our customers get to enjoy high quality, ethically raised chicken. Our meat birds average 4-6lbs.
